One must follow these steps and do these activities before sleeping to get healthy and active life :-
1) Ensure that you have taken your diet 3 and half to 4 hours before sleeping. Especially when you eat meat or other heavy food.
3) Before going to bed you should take a shower. If you can't take cold showers, go for lukewarm water but not hot shower. You will see that your body gets Purified.
4) Light a lamp in any corner of your room. The must be cotton and oil lamp. You can use any one organic oil. This must be in room you sleep.
5) You should pray to God and thank him for all the things you have been gifted to him. If you have some Mantra then go for its chanting. If you do any yogic practice do it.
6) You should sleep such that your head is not in the North Direction. Any other direction is ok. To know why, click on the link below-
7) You should sleep such that your face is towards your right side.
